This slightly extended version also finishes with an icon in the food world, however you complete this drive, you cannot go wrong.

Gorgeous route and a lovely write-up, thank you GT1! We drove down the A470 returning from a trip up to Holyhead some years ago - looking forward to giving this loop a go. Hopefully when the days are less dreary!
We're extremely excited to say we're driving with a huge convoy of 150 Porsches as part of the Tribal Porsche group, an incredible community of passionate drivers. We're going to be taking the scenic route and making several stops along the way to make for a truly fantastic day of driving. A special thanks to Martin for hosting this epic journey, and to the members of Tribal Porsche for outstanding company.

This is a beautiful route with great variance, its primary attraction being a glimpse into the The Five Valleys and some outstanding driving roads. Incredibly scenic at sunset. There are many fantastic alternate roads to explore on this route, well worth a diversion if you can afford the time.
We're going to hurry up and finish the picture gallery feature just for this drive - we want to see some photos!
This is a favourite of mine , taking in a few 60mph twisties. Ending up at little Easton manor
Starting at Buttermere, the drive takes you through mountain terrain, past rivers, waterfalls and potentially some sheep! It finishes near Low Wood Bay hotel located in Windermere where you can stay overnight if you want to explore the Lake District further.
Short drive taking in the Classic Motor Hub and Diddly Squat Farm and surrounding Cotswold towns.

There’s definitely some really nice routes round the Cotswolds, I’ve not been past the Diddly Squat Farm yet so I might keep this route in mine :)
A drive hugging the remote Cornwall coastline with incredible views. This drive includes lighthouses, castles, mines and clifftop views.

Lovely drive through Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park passing Tryfan (well worth stopping at Ogwen Cottage for a walk up towards Devils Kitchen) and then looping round through Capel Curig and on to the Llanberis Pass and Nant Peris passing the slopes of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) and passing through Llanberis, before heading back towards your starting point at Bangor Services, next to the A55 J11.

This is my quick local drive to keep the Porsche running when not being used more regularly. It contains a number of nice sweeping and some tighter bends and is usually very light traffic, although one stretch passes a dairy farm so can be held up at milking time!
Annual meet in Cotswolds, motorway there , for convoy purposes only
The A82 has been recommended as a beautifully scenic road in Scotland, where you can drive through and past a variety of mountainous areas, Loch’s and walking trails for adventurous people. Some areas covered on this route include Loch Lomund, Ben Lomund, the Falls of Falloch, Crianlarich, Tyndrum, Beinn Dorain, the Bridge of Orchy, Loch Tulla, Loch Ba, Loch Actriochtan and Glencoe.

Who doesn't love a coffee run and where better than the beautiful Beacons with the amazing Baffle Haus on route. It's not all about the coffee either, this drive includes some of the best roads and views in the area and also doubles up as a great sunset drive with pizza and a view to die for.

I found this drive whilst having a look for some coastal drives to do and it looks great. The drive goes past beaches as well as some castles at Dunstanburgh and Bamburgh with gardens at Howick Hall. There’s also a world famous traditional fish smoker at L Robson & Sons in Craster 🐠 hoping to do this drive sometime, but saving it on here until then so I don’t forget! If anyone has been round this area let me know how it is :)

It's a lovely spot - with some great surf and paddle boarding. Add in Beadnell & Seahouses and stay on the coast road. Infact, extend the route north as well if you have time and add in Holy Island.
Turn off the A5 at Nesscliffe and follow the B4396 to the A483. Some lovely flowing bends- great at night when you can see headlights. Remember to giggle like a kid as you pass the Knockin Shop. 🤣🤣🤣
This stretch is a lovely little challenging bit of road. Going either up or down it you'll get a few minutes of joy. It's not a fast road by any means, but it'll give your arms and wits a workout around its several hairpins! Minchinhampton common makes for a fantastic stop in summer, there's usually always an ice cream van in the Culver Hill car park. The Old Lodge will serve you a treat for lunch, and continue through to Rodborough Common for some fantastic scenery over the Valleys.
Nice little route. Depending which way you begin you can either start with a mcbreakfast and coffee or end with a lunchtime or evening beer.
A loop through the Yorkshire Dales.
